Elliot Erwitt
Elliot Erwitt was a photographer in the 1950's. His style was black and white photos of interesting situations, but with everyday settings. He used a rollieflex film camera to take his candid photos. He was born on July 26th, 1928 in Paris,France. When he was young he moved to Italy then at the age of ten immigrated to the United States. In the United States he studied at the Los Angeles city college and New School for Social Research. He finished his studies in 1950 then got drafted into the army in 1951. After he was discharged from the army he became a freelance photographer then became a member of the magnum photos.
